In our surrounding , there are so many plants which are used to treat several kinds of disorders,diseases and illness. Some of species of plants and trees are given below  have several medicinal properties.

 

 

1.  ROSE-

BOTANICAL NAME-  𝙍𝙊𝙎𝘼 𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙄𝘾𝘼 

LOCAL NAME-         𝙂𝙐𝙇𝘼𝘽

               MEDICINAL USE 

1. It is certified to be antiseptic, anti-oxidant . 

2. It is rich source of vitamin A, B3, C, D and E. 

3. Rose water relaxes the tension of nerves and reduces the swelling of capillaries beneath skin. 

4 . Rose water treats various eye infections. 

5. Rose petal tea helps in the secretion of bile juice and cleasing the Gall bladder. 

2. 𝙋𝙐𝙍𝙋𝙇𝙀 𝙌𝙐𝙀𝙀𝙉

           MEDICINAL USES 

1. It is used as an anti- inflammatory and anti- toxic supplement and to improve blood circulation. 

2. These are used to treat many diseases i.e gastrointestinal disorders, mycosal infections, general diseases, wounds and cancers . 

 HEMP  -

BOTANICAL NAME - 𝘾𝘼𝙉𝙉𝘼𝘽𝙄𝙎 𝙎𝘼𝙏𝙑𝙄𝘼 

COMMON NAME -  𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙄𝙅𝙐𝘼𝙉𝘼, 𝘽𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙂.

              MEDICINAL USES 

1. It is a remedy to various ailments including Nausea, Vomiting, Physical pain . 

2. It improves sleep and reduces inflammation. 

3. It provides protection against cancer and can increase appetite. 

4 If it is taken in proper quantity, it can cure fever, dysentry, sunstroke, cure speech imperfections

4. AMLA - 

BOTANICAL NAME  -  𝙋𝙃𝙔𝙇𝙇𝘼𝙉𝙏𝙃𝙐𝙎 𝙀𝙈𝘽𝙇𝙄𝘾𝘼

              MEDICAL PROPERTIES

1. It prevents many eye related problems such as Cataract, vision improvement. 

2 . It helps to cure mouth ulcer . 

3. It prevents cold and cough . 

4. It is good for digestion and assimilation of foods. 

5. It relieves asthma and lowers the level of cholesterol and strengthens the cardiac muscles. 

5. CASTOR OIL PLANT -

BOTANICAL NAME - 𝙍𝙄𝘾𝙄𝙉𝙐𝙎 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝙈𝙐𝙉𝙄𝙎

             MEDICINAL  USES 

1. Castor seeds oil is very beneficial for the suffers of Rheumatism

2. It is also used to cure constipation and abdominal disorders. 

3. External application of Castor oil is used to relieve boils furnucles and various skin related disorders. 

4. It is effective in urine retention and other urinary tract related infections. 

6. BAEL

BOTANICAL NAME -  𝘼𝙀𝙂𝙇𝙀 𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙈𝙀𝙇𝙊𝙎 

COMMON NAME - 𝙎𝙏𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙇𝙀, 𝙒𝙊𝙊𝘿 𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙇𝙀

1. Bael fruits are used in the treatment of chronic diarrhea, dysentery and peptic ulcers . 

2. The  leaves are used for treating jaundice, wounds, deafness, conjunctivitis. 

3. The leaf juice with honey is used during fever and cold. 

4 The fruits are also used for Tuberculosis, urinary problems and in  the treatment of intestinal disorders. 

7.ADUSA 

BOTANICAL NAME - 𝘼𝘿𝙃𝘼𝙏𝙊𝘿𝘼  𝙑𝘼𝙎𝙄𝘾𝘼 

COMMON NAME - 𝙈𝘼𝙇𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙍 𝙉𝙐𝙏, 𝘼𝙍𝙐𝙎𝘼, 𝙔𝙀𝙇𝙇𝙊𝙒 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙒𝙃𝙄𝙏𝙀

1. It is useful in treating bronchitis, tuberculosis and other lung disorders. 

2. The decoction of leaves may be used as an herbal treatment for cough and cold. 

3. It is used in treatment of disorders like heart troubles, fever, blood disorders, loss of memories, tumors, mouth troubles, sore - eyes and vomiting

4. Its juice is used for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery. 

8. ARJUN TREE

BOTANICAL NAME  - 𝙏𝙀𝙍𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙇𝙄𝘼

𝘼𝙍𝙅𝙐𝙉𝘼 

COMMON NAME-  𝘼𝙍𝙅𝙐𝙉𝘼 

FAMILY - 𝘾𝙊𝙈𝘽𝙍𝙀𝙏𝘼𝘾𝙀𝘼𝙀. 

            𝙈𝙀𝘿𝙄𝘾𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙏𝙄𝙀𝙎

1. It improves cholesterol level in people with heart disease. 

2. It is good for asthma, hypertension and kidney stones. 

3  The bark of herb is used in curing chest pain  . 

4. The herb contains casuarinin that prevents breast cancers. 

5. The twig is used for teeth cleansing. It also cures pimples, black spots etc. 

9. SAUSAGE TREE-

BOTANICAL NAME - 𝙆𝙄𝙂𝙀𝙇𝙄𝘼 𝙋𝙄𝙉𝙉𝘼𝙏𝘼

COMMON NAME - 𝙎𝘼𝙐𝙎𝘼𝙂𝙀 𝙏𝙍𝙀𝙀, CUCUMBER TREE, BALAM KHIRA

FAMILY   -  𝘽𝙄𝙂𝙉𝙊𝙉𝙄𝘼𝘾𝙀𝘼𝙀

       𝙈𝙀𝘿𝙄𝘾𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙐𝙎𝙀𝙎  

1. It is known to have medicinal properties  like anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti- bacterial , anti-inflammatory

2. Roots of tree are used for Gynecological disorders, abdominal discomfort and tapeworm treatments.. 

3 . Paste of leaves is used to treat backache. 

10. NEEM 

BOTANICAL NAME - 𝘼𝙕𝘼𝘿𝙄𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙃𝙏𝘼 𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙄𝘾𝘼.. 

COMMON NAME - 𝙉𝙄𝙈 𝙏𝙍𝙀𝙀 , 𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙄𝘼𝙉  𝙇𝙄𝙇𝘼𝘾

FAMILY    - 𝙈𝙀𝙇𝙄𝘼𝘾𝙀𝘼𝙀

          𝙈𝙀𝘿𝙄𝘾𝙄𝙉𝘼𝙇 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙏𝙄𝙀𝙎

1. Neem leaf is used for leprosy, eye disorders, intestinal worms, skin ulcers, stomach upset, loss of appetite, heart disease, fever, diabetes, gum disease, liver problems. 

2. The leaf is also used for birth control and to cause abortions

3 . It reduce plague formation and its oil and cream provide protection against mosquitoes. 

11. HIBISCUS PLANT-
