तुम तक

  तुम तक का सफर है,

कब तक का असर है।

चलते –चलते थक गए ,

पर मंजिल की न खबर है ।

सूरज की धूप में जो आशा है,

पर्वत पर यह ही तो बिराजा है,

इस आशा का ही असर है ,

तुम तक का सफर है!

तुम हो बैठे कहीं दूर ,

देख तो लो हुजूर।

यह सफर क्या सुहाना है?

तुम्हे यह भी तो बताना है।

यह राह भी मुश्किल है,

पर हम भी अटल है।

तुम तक का सफर है,

प्रभु तुम्हे क्या फर्क है।

यह कैसा सफर है,

मंजिल और मेहनत है

फिर भी कोई कसर है।

A Journey To You.

The journey is to you,

but how long that spell lasts?

Step by step I'm exhausted,

but the destination hides its face.

Hope lies in the burning rays of the sun,

it sits quietly upon the mountain.

Hope moves me forward-

the journey is to you.

You are somewhere out there,

look, look my dear, at this awful traveler.

Isn't this path beautiful?

This, too, I must tell.

The road is high and steep,

but I stand firm in my resolve.

The journey is to you,

but, O Lord, what difference does it make to you?

What kind of journey is this?

There is labor, there is a goal,

but still- something is missing,

something is undone.
